To achieve this future, we aspire to be the best by leading with integrity as a united watchdog; promoting human rights; confronting gender-based and all forms of violence; promoting health and hygiene; and partnering to advance good governance, peace and sustainable development nationwide.

Mission

We protect and empower children, youth, women, and men in Nigeria through rights education and impactful empowerment; gender-based violence prevention and response; health and survivor care; humanitarian assistance; and community monitoring that strengthens good governance, peace, and sustainable development.

Legal Status

SGHAHRI is an independent, non-profit organization incorporated on 21 February 2024 (Incorporated Trustees No. IT-7361111). It is registered under Part F of the Companies and Allied Matters Act, 2020 (CAMA) with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), and its objectives, as set out in the constitution, have been approved in accordance with Part F of CAMA. SGHAHRI is registered with the Special Control Unit Against Money Laundering (SCUML) under the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Registration No. SC 241401865. The organization complies with applicable laws and regulations, upholds integrity, transparency, and accountability, and maintains robust Anti-Money Laundering (AML) policies and procedures.
