Empowering Women, Empowering Communities!!!
Meet Mama Saifullah, a resilient individual who faced immense challenges, from hunger to hardship. With experience in soap making, she lacked the capital to start her business. Despite her struggles, she never gave up on her dreams.
On Monday, 9th June 2025, she was empowered through the support of The Empowering Women Middle East in partnership with Sunshine Gender Humanitarian and Human Rights Initiative.
The Empowering Women Middle East provided her with funding to start her own bathing soap-making business, and under the supervision of Sunshine Gender Humanitarian and Human Rights Initiative, she purchased the necessary materials and commenced operations.
Mama Saifullah projected that in 4 days, the business will give her a profit of ₦4,000. With this, she could take care of her family and save. Additionally, she received a bag of 5kg of rice to sustain her family, ensuring she did not touch the business fund. Now, she is not only feeding her family but also building a brighter future.
All thanks to The Empowering Women Middle East – HE Claudia Pinto and HE Ahmed Al Mahmood for their philanthropy and commitment to sustainability.
Join us in empowering more women like Mama Saifullah. You can support our initiative by donating or spreading the word.
Together, we can create a brighter future for women and communities in need.
